Stephen Wild M A F A - Bailey Arts

Stephen Wild was born 1955 in Oldham, Lancs. Throughout his early years Stephen showed an obvious innate talent for painting and drawing, though he recieved no formal traing. It wasn't until he reached the age of thirty the Stephen decided to revive his early interest of painting, and he started to gain knowledge under the tuterlage of one of the North-Wests best professional painters, John McCombs, a well known and excellent tutor. Stephen's developed a personal style of painting which see's his favoured subjects as figurative and landscapes. With his flat colour technique teamed with his precise linear brushwork Stephens resulting artwork is very cleverly observed and always sympathetic, showing his unique approach to his subjects.

In 1999 Stephen was accepted into the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts (M.A.F.A)
